About Daniela
I am a Latina, bilingual therapist based in Denver, CO passionate about trauma-informed care. I was born and raised on the border in El Paso, Texas. I received my Master of Social Work from the University of Denver following an academic career at Johns Hopkins where I majored in psychology and public health and received a Master of Health Science in Public Health.
I have worked at various levels of care (outpatient, IOP, and PHP) and have experience with several populations including: Latinx, unhoused youth, and youth experiencing first episode psychosis.

What to Expect
I offer a free 15-minute consultation call to determine if we’re the right match. In this call, I share more about my approach to therapy as well as creating space for you to describe what you’re looking for in a therapist. Don’t hesitate to ask any questions or share any concerns!
Our first session will focus on building our therapeutic connection through a combination of intake questions and curious exploration. I like to keep a relaxed environment and trust that you are your best historian. Our first session is also a valuable opportunity for you to get to know me and whether we jive together. By the end, my goal is for you to feel comfortable and like you know where therapy is "going".
